The Declaration of Independent Singer Songwriter Sarah ashley “Watch What I Can Do”

NASHVILLE, TN, January 5, 2018 /SAMusicNewsToday/--“Watch What I Can Do”  is not only the declaration of “indie” musical artist Sarah Ashley, it is an invitation, also an introduction to this brand new independent country rock singer songwriter, and the song title of her debut single “Watch What I Can Do”. Sarah’s song was recorded at Mainframe Recording Studio in Nashville, TN, where hit makers such as Little Big Town, Sara Evans, Lorrie Morgan, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, and many others have recorded songs.

“Watch What I Can Do” was co-produced by Sarah Ashley, her co-writer David Hare, and Nathan Smith, studio owner engineer of Mainframe Recording Studio. “I think a lot of people will relate to the lyrics,” Sarah explained, “ we wrote it like a musical journey, sort of a modern adventure based on real life events...David and I took three chords, some of our own true stories, ones that express a transition through time, locations, some emotional healing, and wrote this song.”

Sarah Ashley calls “Watch What I Can Do” her “Fight Song,” and says, “it’s really very personal, this song expresses emotions that I think take you from very low, then finally getting to experience for a moment the feeling of empowerment.”  Sarah explains, “David always says “dream big”  and we do, then we wake up and we get busy, we have a “Watch What I Can Do” attitude...and anyone else who wants to can share it too.”

The music video for  Sarah Ashley’s new modern country rock single “Watch What I Can Do” is in the process of being edited by Nashville film maker Thom King, and is scheduled to be released very soon. More songs are written and being recorded to be selected for release. Sarah Ashley plans to release an EP or full album later this year.
